Seasons Greetings from Trinidad! I'm spending the Holiday Season in the land of sun and sand, and I'm quite ecstatic to spend some well-deserved R&R with my family. I normally equate this time of year with snowmen and hot coco but I'm enjoying being surrounded by the palm trees and the sunshine. Hopefully I could get a sun-kissed glow and pick-up a little Trini lingo!

CFDA winner Prabal Gurung will be designing Sephora's women and men beauty adviser's uniforms. The designs consist of a shift dress, jackets and trousers, and men's seperates all designed in Gurung's well-tailored signature style. The color palette is modern with the navy and crimson red combo.
The launch is set for April 2012 throughout North America.
While we are talking Prabal, I can't help but admire his latest exotic creations from the Spring 2012 collection.

Some making-of take themselves sooooooo seriously! Not at Montreal In Fashion. Even though the first editorial issue, LBDvs.LSD, could be described as stark and stern, the behind-the-scenes were pure silliness and full of knee-slapper fun. Hello Luvhelees! Yesterday, I brought you the second Montreal In Fashion editorial featuring lingerie-meets-menswear festive Holiday looks from some of my fave local labels. As you recall, a few weeks ago, I posted MiF's very first editorial photoshoot and motion editorial titled LBDvs.LSD.
With less than two weeks to X-Mas, I'm in a jolly spirit of giving. I would therefore love to share with you the makeup tutorial behind the beauty look, describing how to get this season's bold burgundy pout and sultry smokey eye.
I'm in love with this look and will be doing it again for my next Holiday party. The inspiration was from Robert Palmer's Addicted to Love video, where his band mates were glam gals wearing high-gloss lipstick and come-hitter smokey eyes. I remember being a kid and thinking these women are so HOT!
