Sparkle is the new black. Stated in a recent article by the Globe & Mail in reference to Patricia Fields' fashion outlook for the sea of sparkle & shine seen in the Sex and the City2 movie.

While shopping at Forever 21, I spotted these beauties and just had to have them- besides I need to work on my sparkle as well!

Last Wednesday at the Eve Gravel Atelier Sale event, I discovered a new cocktail that is simply decadent! Rightfully called Urb'nLili as it concocted for fashionista urbanites, this vodka beverage is made with real juices and herbal extracts. What's more, it is Made in Quebec!

So perfect for SATC2 pre and post movie cocktails!

Luving the new Givenchy A/W 2010 campaign for its use of fashionable transsexuals.

The campaign was shot by duo photographers Mert & Marcus which they had also shot the Armani Megan Fox ads and Moet & Chandon campaign featuring Scarlett Johansson.

This past weekend, I was Sunday shopping at Mango boutique on Ste-Catherine when I came across this signage. It is so clever that I had to share!

For you Anglophones, it states that for aesthetics reasons, they are featuring three sizes per style and customers should feel free to request for theirs if it's not present.

I always wondered why retailers didn't adhere to this mode of effortless merchandising.

The last thing I want when I step foot in a store is too feel overwhelm by overstock on top of my guilty conscious for my increasing Visa bill!

Simons is looking for the next blog star

I love social media. While managing Facebook, exploring Formspring and Foursquare, I came across last week on Twitterville that La Maison Simons is hosting "Deviens la prochaine blogueuse Twik" contest in the search for Quebec's next top fashionista.

From May 15 to 29, participants can upload their vlog illustrating their creativity, whims and why they have what it takes to forefront the Twik blog, Simons young and trendy brand.

By way of online vote ending May 31, the lucky winner will be awarded with $30 000 worth of prizes including a $7 000 Simons wardrobe and a chance to play fashion editor at Loulou magazine.

Very simple to enter, besides being savvy with video production, you must be aged between 16 and 27 (oh to be young again!) and francophone. See complete rules and regs on site.

MassivArt CHROMATIC colorful exhibition

Deem yourself a cultural artsy connoisseur? If so, you will not want to miss the MassivArt CHROMATIC soirée held at the SAT this Friday May 14.

The second edition of its kind, the event unites emerging creative talents exhibiting their work in fashion, music, graphic design and photography.

A kaleidescope of artistic gems curated by Sid Lee's AD Kristian Manchester, the night will feature a VJ battle hosted by Mix Sessions, a techno infused fashion show by Barbara Layne, and great vibes spinned by DJ Lunice.

The festivities do not stop there, President and Co-founder of Sid Lee Jean-François Bouchard will present his latest series of photography entitled "Still Life" seen at SAS Gallery. Selected pieces will be illustrated on signage and t-shirts at the silkscreen booth.

La Virée des Ateliers exhibiting Montreal artists

Beginning this Thursday May 13, La Virée des ateliers is holding their second edition for a 4 day gala featuring a roster of 50 Mtl's creative artist which range in fields of fashion, photography and contemporary painting.

Held at the culturally vibrant Grover building (a former textile mill), visitors will have the unique chance to see up close and personal the works of these créateurs.
