Sometimes I have bad hair days. I'm very let's say picky on how I want my hair to look so when it's not working out, I wear my fave hat of the moment - a straw fedora from Aldo.

Christmas in July with Old Navy

This week I was invited to a showing of Old Navy's Holiday collection held at Le St-Gabriel. The scenery was nothing short of a winter wonderland of cabin-fever get-ups, party-ready styles and cool chunky knits.

SO FRESH: Ruud Van Empel eerily vibrant photography

There is something hypnotizing about these children's eyes that I can't seem to cease staring. In fact, they look like they are gazing right back at me!
The artwork, created by Dutch photographer Ruud Van Empel, are digitally manipulated using photoshop and achieved by taking hundreds of individual photos to capture every shimmering detail.
His trademark is photographing mostly black children in lush green landscapes.

Hooray- my new camera!

I'm sooo excited!!! I got my new cam a Sony A330 last week and I can't leave it alone! The day that I purchased it, I waited till 1 in the morning for the battery to be completely charged!
My first subject, no other than my pretty puggie Winston- he on the other hand wasn't impress on being woken up by the flash!

I'm sure Lady Gaga will be paparazzi-ed strutting around in these lavish Alexander McQueen's silver Angel heel ankle boots with crystal embroidery.

Going through my daily ritual of reading Google Reader, I came across this image on fashionindie.com. Though the article was describing top 10 craziest popstars, I was most in awe with this still shot from Rihanna's Rude Boy video.
Did you know that the zebra was actually pink with turquoise stripes? (or is it turquoise with pink stripes??).

The article also jokingly suggest that she is the bastard child of tough and sexy androgynous Grace Jones. Notice how Rihanna's body suit interestingly resembles Keith Haring's body art he painted on Jones.

I want the Candice dress. Not officially dubbed by my name, but I want it nonetheless. I'm referring to a dress  part of the new Mosaik Montreal Autumn 2010 collection. The color palette in sophisticated black and crimson white with a glamorous dosage of sequins, the fall season couldn't come sooner- did you know sequins is now the new black?!
