Meet&Greet with La Collection big winner José-Manuel

The winner of design reality show La Collection was announced last week and a meet-and-greet with the appointed designer along with participating contestants was held at The Bay's infamous White Space (seriously, I've been to the department store at least four times this month!).

Quebec's version of Project Runway, José-Manuel created the winning collection showcasing is innate creativity and stellar eye for fashion. Walking away with a $100 000 grand prize which he ventures to create a new line and plans on completing a Masters in Europe.

Having been acquainted with one of the contestants Simon and also José-Manuel's beau, he happily exclaimed to me "On est riche!!".

Lanvin for H&M launches tomorrow in Montreal

The wait is finally over, Lanvin for H&M launches tomorrow Saturday, November 20 at the Montreal H&M downtown location (1100 Sainte-Catherine O.)

Get there early to snagg all the pretty party frocks, zebra printed jackets and dainty accessories.

Revealing the looks yesterday in a fashion show held in New York, Alber Elbaz created customized unique haute couture pieces from the Lanvin for H&M collection. Present were the likes of bloggers-du-jour BryanBoy and Susie Lau as well as an exciting appearance by a candy-coated Anna del Russo. The looks are now being auctioned exclusively . All proceeds from the auction will be donated to UNICEF, as part of H&M’s “All for Children” project. Bidding closes at 11:59pm CET on November 26. Check out lanvinforhm.com for more information.

Walking on St-Catherine yesterday I spotted this TwoAngle Tee that caught my cam eye. Showcased in the window of Downstairs boutique, a new menswear store for the urban male, I couldn't help but get the 411 on the tee featuring friendly face Karl Lagerfeld and Kanye West (oh Yzee, how I love thee!). Apparently there are more women purchasing the item than men!

Triptyqu3 presents Silk Bones by Black Tiger Sex Machine

Last Friday was the EP release of electro disco group Black Tiger Sex Machine held at enigma hot spot 2005 1/2 St-Denis (ok, its really L'Abreuvoir!). The night was hosted by Triptyqu3 an organization that promotes innovative local talent within the world of photography, design and styling. For their latest edition, titled Silk Bones, the collabo featured the aforementioned group clad in Dimitry Chris, styled by Duc C. Nguyên and photographed by duo Faubert-Verbert.
