Last week I, along with other bloggers, was invited to savvy shop the styles at Walmart's in-house brand George.
I know what you're thinking, the gal that takes the art of dressing up to new heights is now shopping at mass retailer discount giant?? Yeppers, you best believe it!
I couldn't get over the choices: leopard-print maxi dresses, borrowed-from-the-boys denim shirt, and hipster shoes galore!
My fellow shopping buddies
Nathalie (Dans la cabine), Catherine (Le Monde de Cath In), Genevieve (Journal Metro Montreal blog)
Samantha (Tam+Sam), Marie-Pier (Les Carnets Mode), Josianne (Ton petit look), Audrwey (Jeans et Stilettos)
The commercial really drives the notion that the line has had a makeover.
[WANNA KNOW] How do you feel about shopping at the American discount department store as opposed to buying locally?

All I would reply is written there.
I hear you Mlle.
Having close friends that are adamant about designing and producing a line locally, I'm cognizant of the value of creating clothing and the exploitation that occur in the manufacturing industry.
On the flip side, we should also take a closer look at everything we use in our daily lives. For instance, the mere computer we are communicating with, how was that manufactured?
Food for thought.
