After receiving Diesel's latest women's fragrance LOVERDOSE which I reviewed here, it got me thinking to all that I'm fervently in Love with, Desire tremendously, Obsess madly, and Gaga like a love-sick puppy.  Just like LOVERDOSE's scent described as "sharp as a flint, precious as a diamond, a weapon of seduction guaranteed to go straight to the heart", I simply can't seem to get enough. Like a moth to a flame, here are my most precious "belongings" that light my fire!

Oh yes, for the exclusive part! Here's another treat for you LOVElies- Diesel's launch party for LOVERDOSE called Heartbrak Hotel was held this past October at trendy L'Auberge Saint-Gabriel. Playful and debauchery fun was on the menu with a flash of glam and rock. Spotted at the surrealism themed party were fellow Montreal bloggers and singer Jonas which were treated to a contortionist and a very sly rabbit!

What's In Fashion Montreal: Marni at H&M Spring 2012 Collection

Say what now?! H&M just announced that they are once again partnering with a high-end RTW line. After Versace (have you recovered yet?), luxewear Marni, another Italian brand, collabs with the Swedish makers of fast fashion by bringing a women's and men's Spring 2012 collection which hits stores March 8, 2012. That's right, yet another reason to partake in a long line-up while you ponder how to creatively grab every garment in sight!

Staying true to Marni's magic, Creative Director Consuelo Castiglioni states: “I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favourite pieces in signature fabrics and prints. As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colours, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic and adding sporty utilitarian elements.” Aww, music to my bold-fashion-sense ears!

Boy does H&M get it! Understanding the style culture of swag sauce, the cheap-and-chic retailer continues to provide sought-after designer collections for less.

What's In Fashion Montreal: Watch The Throne

I fully understand the meaning behind Watch The Throne. While admiring JayZ and Kanye West kick it with lyric after lyric from their collaborative album and individual hits, I was moved with marvel by these two men that are truly living their dreams. Respectively overcoming destitution and internal demons, the rap giants showed why going H.A.M. always pays off.

The highlight of the night: the encore of all encores as they played N**** In Paris five times to a bewildering crowd- I keep singing "Rollies that don't tic toc!"

Shock and awe: illustrating the game of Life, at the end of Welcome to the Jungle, there was a projection of a cheetah preying and eventually capturing an impala.

My fave moment: Kanye's emotional rendition of Runaway. After the debacle of the last couple of years, he seems truly at peace with his stature. But still remaining true to his superstar merit, on two occasions he cut mid-way through a song  so that the Bell Centre could turn up All of The Lights, literally! 

Jay equally killed it with Big Pimpin and New York.

Fringing the limits of men fashions, Yzee was clad in Fall 2011 women's Givenchy Rottweiler tunic over leather leggings and skirt. Hova sported "all black everything" and iconic NY Yankees cap. 

  

I'm wearing Henri Henri fedora, Club Monoco wool jacket, !Nu.Fashion by Vickie dress and belt, and Aldo wedge booties.

What's In Fashion Montreal: Tonight I Watch The Throne

I can barely calm my palpitations! In a couple of hours I'm going to see the person I call my G.O.D - yep I said! Kanye West and JayZ are playing at the Bell Centre for their Watch The Throne concert and I'm squealing like a school girl. Earlier I tweeted "After my weeding day and birth of my children, November 22 2011 I will forever cherish."
A true evangelist for the world of Yzee, in January my New Years resolution was based on Kanye's lyrics- no joke check it out here!

I'm dressed for royalty in my !Nu.I Fashion by Vickie "Black Swan" dress + crystal embellished belt. Can't forgot my current obsession Loverdose which you have the chance to win a bottle of the enigmatic fragrance from Diesel.

LBDvsLSD: Montreal In Fashion Motion Editorial, Issue 01

Along with Montreal In Fashion's inaugural editorial LBDvs.LSD, I was feeling mighty creative (and ambitious I must add!) and created a motion editorial to accompany the still images. Ouff! A long time coming and I'm tickled pink by the result. A trillion kisses and hugs to photog Amy Lee for creating the video and to Cath Martin for the beauty xxoxx. 

It's my first foray in fashion filming and looking forward to the next.

I'm Whimsically Bold with Stila Holiday 2011 Collection

WHIMSICALLY BOLD. The name of the Stila custom-made colour palette designed by moi! Last week, a couple of bloggettes and I were invited by the cosmetic line to discover and drool over their pretty dazzly Holiday 2011 collection. 

I chose the name Whimsically Bold for my love of blending opposite beauty elements. For instance, I'm a real girly girl and I feel equally feminine wearing my BF's shirt paired with scarlet lips. Hence why I'm gaga over my gamine haircut! 

We had to explain the inspiration for our colour palette and I went on a rant from Carnivals, to Heart Breaks, and First Kisses. Might seem all over the shop but I'm driven by moments that conjure intense emotion and reverie. 

That ooooh-orange Mimosa shade was divine and I designed the other three around it. Sticking with the juxtapose theme, I chose complementary colours that will look great on everyone and match them with a base shadow. `

Et voilàààà!!!!

My eyes blinked wildly and mouth hit the floor when I heard the price for these two dreamy colour palettes sent from the Stila Gods!

The smaller palette called Daydream consisting of 22 shades is a mere $24. The other, Dream In Full, has 29 eye shadows and 7 cheek colors, and retails for $50.

Also part of their Holiday collection is their 8-pack lip glaze with sparkly shades from Fantasy, Believe, and Dream. It retails for only $33!!!

The new Stila Holiday collection is available at Pharmaprix, Murale, and Sephora.

Poser in the Dark

If I told you why I was out in the middle of the night on busy St-Jacques Street, you simply wouldn't believe me. My impromptu nocturnal escapade turned into flashing lights. I'm enthralled with my ivory knit dress that I shared with you from the Vintage Mart Sale last week. It's simply the best of both worlds, the color is angelic, but the cut is fierce! Coupled with my go-to-cape of the moment, I feel pixie pretty.

I'm wearing a knit cape from Tristan, Caesar Pony knit long-sleeve dress, Secret mesh tights, and Aldo wedge booties.
