Yesterday was the grand opening for womenswear store Boutique 1861's second location niched on the Main at 3670 St-Laurent Blvd. Montreal In Fashion was invited to the media event that treated attendees to plenty of girly fun.
Decorated in a vintage lover's dream, the airy space of high ceilings is designed in an eggshell, champagne and pastel pink finishing. Très chichi!
The mastermind behind this curated boutique is pint size owner cutie Castle Ho. Having already two other womenswear stores under her fashion belt - coquette Rasberry and streetwear Downstairs - this second 1861 location is a beautiful addition to a vision of catering to "women who love being women and dressing the part."
I must say I was shocked by how reasonable the prices were- spotted tops for $50 and dresses for $65. The collection assortment is akin to visiting your amazingly stylish BFF's closet- you simply want everything! It's an on-trend fashion mix of international and Canadian brands (UK Emily and Finn and Toronto Pink Martini) along with Montreal lines Coccolily and Arti Gogna.
