We all know that Hervé Léger's signature design is to accentuate the female form. The lineup for Spring 2013 did so and much more. In a rodeo of an artful expression, the collection quilted a luxurious vision of bandage-y styles that were crochets and embellished with appliqués. A palette of white, nutmeg, and grey offset by steel blue and black coloured the collection. Bodycon they still were but infused with a creative sobriety thderiving from the source of inspiration: the stunning African-American quilts created by the women from Gee's Bend, Alabama. With this artistic notion, it was a delightful nod to the feminine strength.
