While I was in New York last month for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, I had the chance to attend a cool event held at 91 Horatio, a loft-like space located in the Meatpacking district.
It was very New Yawk in the sense that people were the epitome of swag- from the way they dressed, talked, and walked. I loved it. The evening was to celebrate Durango Loves New York a collaboration between bad-ass Americana boot brand Durango and photographer Ashley Sky Walker. They united to create a table book profiling young New Yorkers that are shaping the 212 in the fields of fashion, art, and music. Captured wearing Durango fall 2012 City collection, the tastemakers where shot by Walker.

The evening served as art installation and pop-up presentation for the style table book. I had met and captured some of the individuals that were profiled.
